Voally Hub

The hub runs your cafe on its own Wi-Fi: timers, screens and bills keep working even without internet. Put it on a Windows PC, a Mac, or a spare Android phone that stays at the cafe, plugged in and on the cafe Wi-Fi.

Windows PC

Download for Windows About 90 MB · Windows 10 or 11
  1. Open Voally Hub from your Downloads.
  2. If Windows says "Windows protected your PC": More info, then Run anyway.
  3. Allow it on Private networks when Windows asks.
  4. A page with a QR code opens. It starts by itself when the PC is switched on.

Mac

Apple silicon (M1 and later) Intel
About 40 MB. Not sure which? Apple menu, About This Mac: "Chip: Apple M…" is Apple silicon; "Processor: Intel" is Intel.
  1. Open the zip, then open Voally Hub.
  2. If macOS will not open it: System Settings, Privacy & Security, Open Anyway.
  3. A page with a QR code opens. It starts by itself when you sign in to the Mac.

Spare Android phone

Download for Android About 85 MB · Android 8 or later. Open this page on that phone.
  1. Open the download. If asked, allow your browser to install unknown apps.
  2. Open Voally Hub, allow notifications, and tap Let the hub run all the time.
  3. Keep the phone at the cafe, charging and on the cafe Wi-Fi. It shows a QR code.

Then connect it, with one scan

In the Voally app on the owner's phone: Settings, Hub, Scan, and point it at the QR code the hub shows. That joins the hub to your cafe and pairs your phone. Staff phones scan the same code from Stations.

The other apps

Voally Screen, for Google TV

The lock screen and the 10 and 5 minute boxes on each TV. For Google TV and Android TV sets. Install it with a pen drive, or with the free Downloader app and this page's address.
